We will hear from two risk professionals, who will discuss their risk journey and provide valuable insight into challenges, wins, and how to navigate the risk management profession to become successful subject matter expert risk professionals within their industry.

Kerri Stephens has over a decade of executive and board-level expertise in governance, risk, and resilience across diverse industries including financial services, agriculture, tourism, government infrastructure, not-for-profit and healthcare.
Holding pivotal leadership positions to successfully develop and deliver risk and resilience strategies for Royal Flying Doctor Service, SA Water, Journey Beyond and Elders Ltd.
Kerri’s multifaceted professional experience, strategic acumen, ability to critical analyse and synthesise complex concepts, together with her clear communication, collaborative and adaptive leadership style makes her a trusted advisor to executives and boards alike.
Kerri is a Non-Executive Director of RMIA, a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and holds a Graduate Certificate in Psychology of Risk.

Justine is a highly experienced enterprise and project risk management and corporate transformation management professional with over 25 years’ experience across infrastructure, energy and financial services including Inland Rail, Senex Energy and Macquarie Bank.
She has a proven track record of driving enterprise-wide transformational change and embedding risk-informed decision making for board and executive levels. Justine focuses on fostering strong stakeholder relationships and an enabling risk team culture.

Kerry McGoldrick is a recognised leader in governance, risk and resilience, with extensive experience across commercial, not for profit and public sector organisations in both industry (including Qantas and Woolworths) and professional services (including EY and Deloitte).
A member of RMIA's NSW chapter committee, Kerry is also chair of Governance Institute’s NSW/ACT Council, and chair of the Risk Management Committee of Standards Australia.
Kerry is a regular contributor to industry thought leadership, media and postgraduate education.
