About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk, the Enterprise Risk Advisor supports the implementation and ongoing improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. The Enterprise Risk Advisor will provide expert risk advice to business units across the organisation, supporting stakeholders in effectively identifying, analysing, evaluating and treating operational risks, whilst also supporting project and strategic risk management. The role has responsibility for the co-ordination and monitoring of risk activities, undertaking risk reporting, quality assuring risk documentation, supporting the delivery of education to uplift risk capability, facilitating and supporting risk identification and review workshops, and configuring and maintaining risk management software to ensure it is fit for purpose and aligns to RSLQ’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

What’s required to succeed:

  • Qualifications in risk management (e.g. Certificate of Governance and Risk, Certificate IV Risk Management, Diploma Risk and Business Continuity, Bachelor of Business) are desirable. 

  • Certification through RMIA (CPRA or CPRM) desirable.

  • 2+ years’ experience in supporting an enterprise risk or operational risk management function.

  • Commercial acumen with demonstrated understanding of operational processes, business complexities and risk interdependencies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build positive and productive working relationships with staff at all levels within an organisation.

  • Experience in the use of the Microsoft Suite (mandatory) and Power BI or other business intelligence applications (desirable).
