Salary: $119,563 to $127,444 per annum, plus superannuation

About the Position
This position reports directly to Manager Corporate Governance & Risk with two direct reports, Senior Risk Officer and Insurance Officer. This role provides leadership; thinks strategically and manages change; engages stakeholders and customers; efficient and effective in delivery; manages their teams resources, governance, compliance and risk. 

About You
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in both collaborative team environments and when working independently. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. To be successful in this role, you will need to outline your skills and experience against the following criteria: 

Qualifications, Requirements and Experience:

  • Significant experience in a similar role within a large and complex organisation.

  • Significant experience in stakeholder engagement and consultation.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Advanced communication skills, including, written, verbal and public speaking.

  • Highly skilled in developing and maintaining a positive and productive culture.  

  • Proven track record achieving business goals and strategy and creating a shared culture of commitment for the team and key stakeholders.

  • Highly skilled in managing individual performance.

  • Advanced negotiating and influencing skills.

  • Knowledge of the practical application of occupational health and safety measures in the workplace, including risk assessment and control implementation.
